The governors of West Buckland School are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Naomi J Wild to the Governing Body.
Mrs Wild attended the school from 1989 – 2001 and her family has a long-standing association with West Buckland. She graduated from the University of West of England in 2004 with a BA Hons in Business in Property and qualified as a Member of RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) in 2009. Naomi has a varied background of commercial surveying and a broad spectrum of experience and depth of knowledge in Asset Management.
She has specialist experience working with Regional Development Agencies, has worked with Gatwick Airport and is currently part of the Estates Team at North Devon Council, as well as undertaking property development projects.
Mr Simon Fox, vice-chairman of governors at West Buckland says: “We are delighted Naomi has agreed to stand as a governor. Her longstanding association and knowledge of the school, combined with her professional skills and acumen, are sure to bring many benefits to all at West Buckland and we look forward to the contribution she will make.”
