The Year 13 Leavers’ Ball took place at High Bullen Hotel on a gloriously warm evening under blue skies. The evening is the culmination of their final year at West Buckland and is a chance for parents and pupils alike to look back with a certain amount of nostalgia at their school life and celebrate what lies ahead as they prepare for their university and career experiences.
The Ball is always an opportunity for the students to get dressed up and the students all looked fabulous which was nothing less than the evening deserved.
A highlight of the evening was a fantastic and very entertaining presentation by Head and Deputy Head of School, Katie Hevingham and Anson Tai, including a slide show of photos from the year group’s early years, video messages from teachers who were not able to attend the evening, mentions of achievements, sporting and otherwise, over the years and a nod to those former contemporaries who were no longer at the school.
Many thanks must go to everyone who organised the evening. For more photos, please visit our Facebook page.
