Mr Heaton-Jones was then gave the students a mini-tour of the Palace of Westminster, which included privileged access to the unscreened gallery during the Queen's Speech debate.

The trip to London also included a visit to the Bank of England Museum, a briefing on the economy from investment fund managers Smith & Williamson and concluded with taking in panoramic views of the City of London from SkyGarden.
