Our Sixth Form Charities Committee have been celebrating breaking the £4,000 barrier in their fund raising efforts this year. The money will be presented to the Committee's chosen charity for the year, namely Teenage Cancer Trust, to help them with their invaluable work with young cancer sufferers and their families.
The committee have organised a number of fund raising initiatives during the year, including cake sales, a vintage clothes sale, busking in South Molton on a Saturday afternoon and, most recently, a very successful raffle and stall at last Saturday's Summer Fete. The total raised, to date, now stands at £4,013, the highest amount raised by any Charities Committee.
Many thanks must go to Mrs Tracy Hill who has been instrumental in guiding and managing the committee.
