Towards the end of the Easter break, a group of 32 Year 8 and 9 girls enjoyed a fantastic trip to Paris for a five day sports tour. They spent their days playing high quality netball, and their evenings enjoying the thrills of Eurodisney.
The travelling netballers played against 30 different schools and clubs in four separate competitions. Each of the four teams had varying success, with notable victories and a second place finish from the West Buckland Wildcats, captained by Emily Davies.
The players stayed at Eurodisney, which meant they could enjoy long evenings in the Disney park queueing for rides!
Head of Girls Sport, Alice Brown, was very proud of the travelling group. “The quality of netball played, the behaviour of all in attendance, the inspirational team spirit, and general ‘good-fun’ attitude from all those who travelled away meant it was a special and memorable trip for all involved.”
