From Hogwarts to King Lear

hogwarts

globe theatre

Forty eight students from Years 9 and 10 enjoyed a magical trip to London during half term.  Their first stop was a visit to the famous Globe theatre where they looked around the museum and were lucky enough to watch a ‘warm-up’ for the performance of King Lear, to be performed later that day.

Highlights of the trip also included visits to the West End hit musicals ‘Matilda’ and ‘The Lion King’ and Harry Potter World, complete with the new Forbidden Forest feature, with plenty of Butter Beer and Bertie Botts Every Flavour Jelly Beans!

This really was an amazing, and action-packed, trip to the big smoke.  Many thanks to the accompanying staff members who helped to make it such a success.
